Our History
Disciple Central Community Church (DC3) began in January 2008 with Pastor Marcus D. King and seven committed members who shared a bold vision: to build a faith-driven, community-centered church.
Later that year, DC3 partnered with Johnson Chapel Community Church in DeSoto, Texas, merging two congregations into one unified body with renewed purpose. By 2013, DC3 was once again operating under its original name and had grown into a thriving, impactful ministry known for its heart for people and regional influence.
Today, DC3 is a diverse and growing church family with members from DeSoto, Dallas, and throughout North Texas. United by faith, love, and a passion for serving others, we are committed to helping people know God, discover their purpose, and make a lasting impact—both locally and around the world.
